Before starting this mission, it’s worthwhile to get used to the controls of bicycles and parachutes if you haven’t already.
After the introductory cutscene, follow the retriever until it leads you to Dominic. Then get into the helicopter.
After the cutscene, jump out of the helicopter and free-fall for at least 7 seconds from the moment the radar appears in the lower left corner of the screen. This is necessary to get gold.
However, it’s better not to open the parachute for 16-18 seconds and at the same time tilt the left stick forward / hold down the W key to accelerate the fall. The optimal moment for opening the parachute can be tracked by using the altimeter on the radar.
Now you need to land at the top of Mount Chiliad, get on a bike, and start the race to the bottom. It’s not necessary to wait for Dom, despite the game’s message.
The second gold medal condition is to get 2 seconds of air during the bicycle race. The most suitable place for this is shown in the screenshots below. About a second before jumping, press and hold R1 / RB / Space, and then release it just before you lift off the ground.
The third and last gold condition is to win the bicycle race against Dom. The main thing is to stay close and overtake Dominic when the last two checkpoints remain. It will be easier if you take a shortcut in the last turn.
After the mission end, 13 parachute jumps will become available. You need to complete them all to unlock the last Dom’s mission and to get 100% completion of the game.
