Get in the car and go to the airfield. If you don’t have body armor and shotgun shells, get them beforehand.

Get in the Duster and follow the cargo plane at a low altitude to be invisible to military radars. The most convenient way is to fly over rivers, the ocean and the freeways.

As soon as Ron announces that you left the military airspace, start to gain altitude. When you get close to a cargo plane, you will be urged to change course. Ignore this and continue to verge towards the cargo plane. Its ramp will open, and soldiers will fire at you with rockets and small arms.

You need to land the Duster inside the cargo plane. Fly a little lower than the pursued aircraft, it will be easier to get close in this way. When you will be in 150–300 ft (50–100 m) from the cargo plane, gain altitude. There will be a small cutscene in which Trevor will land the Duster in the cargo bay.

Stay behind the crate and try to eliminate as many enemies as possible. To get the gold medal, you need to shoot with an accuracy of at least 80%. Use a shotgun or shoot enemies at the legs using a weapon with low damage.

Move forward, keeping to the left. On the right, Mesas may knock down the protagonist. Don’t forget about Trevor’s special ability, it makes fighting with the enemies easier.

When you reach the end, go up the ladder and neutralize the pilot.

After gaining control of the aircraft, turn it around and head to the McKenzie airfield. After some time, two fighter jets will start escorting you, and then eventually will destroy one of the cargo plane engines.

When you will be in the cargo bay again, get in the only car there and exit the plane in it. This is necessary to get the gold medal.

Now it remains only to land. Be sure to get out of the car in the air and open the parachute. Otherwise, Trevor will die from hitting the water.

After the end of the mission, you will be able to play as Michael and Trevor again. However, Martin’s thugs will pursue them in Los Santos.

Aircraft Wreckage in the Alamo Sea

The cargo plane that crashes in this mission will be at the bottom of the Alamo Sea. To get to it, you need the Scuba Gear. Among the wreckage, you can find an RPG, a Grenade Launcher, a Combat MG, a Sniper Rifle, a Body Armor, Sticky Bombs, and a Railgun. These weapons will respawn at the crash site endlessly.

Trivia

  • If you have bought shares of Vangelico after the Jewel Store Job, the profit will reach about 40% after the end of this mission. There will be no significant growth in the future, so it’s advisable to sell them.
  • This mission reminds the “N.O.E.”, “Stowaway”, and “Freefall” missions in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.
  • The cargo plane is too big to be landed at the Mckenzie airfield, although Trevor intended to do this according to the scenario.
