Gold Medal Walkthrough

Get in Michael’s Tailgater, wait for Trevor and head to the Maze Bank Arena. Stop in the marked spot and knock out the person with the tablet, who will say that you cannot park here. It is necessary to get the gold medal.

Go to the Arena and after the cut-scene run back to the car. It was towed, so you need to hijack the Phantom truck. Start chasing Lazlow and don’t unhook the trailer. Although the game gives the appropriate hint, you can’t unhook it, if you want to get the gold medal.

It’s impossible to catch up with Lazlow. However, try to drive as fast as possible. Another two gold medal conditions are to stay close to Lazlow throughout the chase and reach top speed in the Phantom. This can be done on the Hawick and Davis Avenue straights.

The chase will end at Los Santos Storm Drain, and the mission will end too. After it, Michael and Franklin will receive their payouts from The Jewel Store Job.

Trivia

• If you start this mission as Michael, the introductory cutscene will be more eventful than in the case of Trevor.
• The song Tracey dances to is “Give It to Me Baby” by Rick James. It can be heard on Space 103.2.
• If you switch to Trevor right after the mission, he will still drive the Phantom. However, there will not be a trailer, even if you didn’t unhook it during the mission.
• During the auditions, Lazlow says that thee are “right here in Vinewood, San Andreas,” although the auditions took place at the Maze Bank Arena in La Puerta.
