Crime and Punishment

In this mission, you have to stop the van carrying TVs, hijack it, and drive it to the lockup.

After the cutscene ends, you will be standing in front of Mikhail Faustin’s house. You will need a cop car to do the mission. Luckily, there is a scripted cop car which will approach you at the beginning of the mission.

Wait for the car to arrive. After it does, let the cop go away — if you enter the car too early, you will get a wanted star, and he might even arrest you. After entering the car, Nico will call Dimitri, and he will give you the locations of three suspected vans, one of which is carrying the TVs.

Go near each van before they reach their destinations and press L3 on PlayStation, LS on Xbox, or G on PC to sound the siren of the police vehicle. Then pull up near the van to stop it, exit your vehicle and approach the driver’s window.

Finally, when you reach the van carrying the TVs — you can either choose to kill both the men or steal the van right away. Although be careful of the gunner, he can sometimes shoot you to death if you have low health or are too careless.

After stealing the van, drive it to the lockup where Mikhail had instructed you to. Then after parking the van, you will automatically exit the garage, after which the mission will end.

Later Dimitri will call you saying to come over for work.

Trivia

• The events of The Lost and Damned DLC begin during this mission.
• No matter which van the player pulls over first, the van will never contain the flat screens.
• If the player kills the goons before the cutscene, the mission fails.
