Walkthrough of the Second Ray’s Mission

Before the beginning of the mission, it’s useful to get Molotov cocktails or grenades.

Go to the marked point and watch a short cutscene. Pick up the weapons to the left of Phil, during the mission it’s free. Pay attention to the cargo containers, there are Molotovs and a rocket launcher on them. You can get to them using the concrete fence. There’s also a body armor among the containers.

The Cartel members will arrive soon, you need to eliminate them. You can stay right on the containers, it’s a good firing position. Colombians will mainly come from the gate, but a few will also appear from the north. The easiest way is to throw grenades or Molotovs at them before they open fire.

When all the gangsters are eliminated, talk to Phil and the mission will be completed. From now on you can buy here M16, a shotgun, and a rocket launcher.

Trivia

• The Rhino’s doors are locked. The only way to get it is to push it to the garage near the safehouse, leave it there and wait till the door close. After that, the tank can be used. However, this is the longest and most inconvenient way to get a tank in GTA III.
• Barracks OL needs to be delivered for export to Portland Docks. Deliver it there right after completion of the mission if you didn’t previously. It’s required for the 100% completion of the game.
