Gold Medal Walkthrough

This mission becomes available after attaining 100% completion of the game, but not immediately. Sometimes you need to wait until several in-game weeks. A green question mark will appear on the map in the Chiliad Mountain State Wilderness.

As soon as Franklin meets with the hunter, he will direct him to investigate the place of detection of the scat. It’s indicated on the map by a large yellow circle and it’s necessary to come there on foot, otherwise, the gold medal can’t be obtained. The most convenient way is the dirt road.

After arriving at the scat site, go a little further towards the highway. The Sasquatch will jump out from behind the trees, make a small rush and hide behind the trees again. You need to shoot the Sasquatch three times before catching it to receive the gold medal. The Bigfoot is indicated by a red dot on the radar, and you can also navigate by the sound.

The last requirement for the gold medal is to kill 4 animals while chasing the Sasquatch. It’s pretty easy, there are enough animals in this area. Particular attention should be paid to cougars, as they will probably try to attack.

In the end, the frightened Bigfoot will stop at the cliff and will wait for Franklin if you don’t shoot him during the last rush. Shoot him, or hit, and the last cutscene in this mission will begin. At the end, you can finish off the freak, but it’s not necessary.
