Gold Medal Walkthrough

To get the gold medal, you need to complete the mission within 7 minutes, so you need to skip all cutscenes.

Davin waits for you at one of the lookout points in the Kortz Center. To talk to him, go through the main entrance, run to the stairway and go up it.

After the cutscene, follow Davin. To get the gold medal, you need to kill 18 enemies with a headshot. Michael’s special ability will be helpful.

When the game will switch you to Trevor, shoot the pilot of the helicopter. After that, kill as many enemies as you can using a sniper rifle. It is also a nice moment to kill enemies with headshots.

Then switch to Michael and move to the marked point. Always try to use shelters and special ability.

Get in the car and follow the specified route. Almost immediately a helicopter will attack you. You need to shoot it down to get the gold medal.

After talking with Trevor, the mission will be completed.

Trivia

• At the exit from the Kortz Center, you can get and keep one of the Merryweather Mesas.
• The Mexican Stand-Off in the first cutscene is similar to the one in the 1993 film True Romance, written by Quentin Tarantino.
• The United Liberty Paper contact can be killed during the mission. This is a non-canonical scenario since he appears in GTA Online in The Doomsday Heist, 4 years after the events of GTA V.
