This is the first mission in the game, in which getting the gold medal is really not easy. In addition, if you are new in GTA 5, ensure you have a body armor before starting this mission.
Skip the cutscene, get in the car and drive to Ammu-Nation. Go to the store, step up to the counter and press the action button. Buy a shotgun if you don’t have one yet, and a flashlight for it. If you haven’t enough money, Lamar will add up to $1500.
In GTA 4, the gun shops were underground and imperceptible. In GTA 5, it’s the Ammou-Nation stores again, some of which have a shooting range. The innovation of the game is weapon modifications. You’ll get the “Pimp My Sidearm” achievement after full modification of any weapon.
Leave the store, get back into the car and head to the destination. On the way, use Franklin’s special ability to save time. To get the gold medal you need to complete the mission within ten and a half minutes.
Park the car and go inside the building. Go upstairs, skip the cutscene, follow Lamar and Stretch and immediately take cover behind the wooden boxes. Eliminate all enemies and move on. Remember that to get the gold medal you need to get 10 headshots, shoot with an accuracy of at least 60% and get minimal damage to health and armor.
When you approach the closed door and Lamar asks you to cover him, take cover behind the cabinet where the first-aid kit is. The door will be knocked out with an explosion and two Ballas will enter the corridor. Shoot them, go to the opened door and immediately take cover. Eliminate a few more enemies, go forward and then down the stairs. Keep the weapon ready, on the staircase you will meet another Ballas.
Move on, go through the doors and take cover behind the wooden boxes. In this corridor, four enemies must be eliminated.
There are a lot of gangsters behind the next door. Again, take cover behind the wooden boxes and eliminate as many Ballas as possible.
Go towards the exit and don’t hide behind burning objects, otherwise, you may get damage from fire.
The next door will be knocked out by an explosion, two gangsters will appear from the smoke and attack you. After you deal with them, go through the fire exit and shoot down the helicopter.
Then follow Lamar and Stretch, the second helicopter can be ignored. After you get out of the junkyard, steal the four-door coupe Jackal. Wait for your accomplices and drive ahead. Right after the entering to the factory, there is something like a dirt road. Drive on it to the end, jump to the rails, turn around the car and drive into the tunnel for a considerable distance. After the wanted stars will disappear, leave the tunnel and head to Franklin’s house. As soon as you park the car near the garage, the mission will be completed.
